I love the 4th of July holiday. It is possibly my favorite. I miss being Heber for it but still it was a great holiday. Kyle unfortunately had to work that night but I was able to go out on Marco Island where he works to watch the fireworks. When I got there Kyle had found an empty room that had a balcony looking out to the ocean right where the fireworks were launching. There were so many boats out on the water it was so cool to see them when the fireworks would go off. I will have to say they weren't the best fireworks but it was pretty cool to see them over the water.
I would like to say thank you to those who serve our country now and in the past and those who have died for it. I have a greater respect for those who serve and their families. It is tough and probably tougher than I can even imagine. I am so proud to know that I live in a free country where we believe and practice freedom and even with our problems we still find hope. I am so grateful for the courage in my own family with a brother that serves in the military and my father who is now running for the Arizona House of Representatives to make this country better. Thank you!
